Bold BI v7.7 Release Highlights for Embedded Analytics

We are excited to share that Bold BI^®version 7.7 is now available! Our most recent update brings many eagerly awaited feature upgrades. New Features

Embedding

• In JavaScript-based embedding, we have added a nonce API to bypass content security policy restrictions only for fetching Bold BI dependencies.
  

• In JavaScript-based embedding, we have added loadView() to render dashboards with filters by view ID or name.

• We have provided support to the TIDB connector.
  

• We have included Custom attribute support for initial filtering.

• We have provided support to include scheduled dashboard image export as inline content in the email body.
  

• We have provided support to generate a personal access token from the My Profile section.

Data sources

• We fixed the issue where the bar chart was not displaying the sum value correctly.
• We resolved the problem where the custom connector section was not loaded after deleting the custom connector JSON.
• We fixed the issue of duplicate fields appearing in collections in the Rockset connector.
• We fixed the problem where parameters were not functioning properly in the expression dialog.
• We resolved the error that occurred during the update of query metrics.
• We fixed the issue of mismatched column mapping when combining data sources.
• We fixed the problem where the data source was slow to load when using SQL-stored procedures.
• We resolved the data retrieval error that occurred while using the TOTAL expression.

Widgets

• We fixed the improper tooltip visibility issue in the heatmap widget.
• We fixed the issue where the applied widget background was not retained when the widget displayed a loading indicator.
• We resolved the scatter chart widget’s improper rendering issue when configuring dimension fields to the label section.
• We fixed the issue where the modified opacity in the color palette was not reflected in the widgets.
